In Memory of My Sweet Sister

Dear Angie

Now you know I am not a church going fellow, but for what ever reason, God has called you home to a better place. A place of peace and happiness. Us mere mortals can't understand the whys and have more questions than answers. But, we can take solace in the fact that you have finally found the peace you longed for.

We will celebrate your life and all you did for us. We will cry for we miss you but not cry for you since you are in a better place. We will cherish your memory and all you did for everyone you touched. You had a caring soul and a kind heart, but asked for nothing in return. You only wanted those around you to be happy.

Angie, my little sister, we were pals growing up who fought like siblings and loved like siblings. In later life, we acted on our independent upbringing and lead our adult lives. Even through time and miles, we had this connection. When ever we spoke, it was like it was only yesterday. We just picked up where we left off. Even in your passing, that bond can never be broken or go away.

One day, we will play cars again and make cities in the dirt like we did when we were little kids. Until that time little sister, watch over us. Keep us safe and strong. In return, we will all keep you in our hearts, cherish your memories and look forward to the day that we can see you again.

I love you and miss you so very much.

Jay

  1. Angela was a wonderful person. She was my neighbor and our children grew up together. I have many great memories of youth football snack bar, baseball games, wrestling, and just spending time together. I know that Angela is now safe and at peace in the arms of our Savior Jesus Christ. May the Lord watch over her family during this difficult time.

  2. Angela was not only my co worker and then boss at MCH, she was also a dear true friend. We became very close and shared secrets. We even have a special song that we both dance together too. I hated to hear the way she went out of this world but I hope she is at peace now. I don't have a picture of her and this picture posted I will keep always. There is a void in my life and a patch of sadness. I will miss Angela my dear friend who many people didn't get to know the sweet woman underneath.

  7. Hi Angela

I miss you so much. Since I have moved off them mountain, you have been in my thoughts alot. I have spoken with you many times and over the last 4 mths I have not been able to reach you. Hoping now, you can hear me. I loved working with you at the hospital, loved having you at my home when you evacuated. We talked many times through the years to each other about our lives. You were of such great support to me, now I support you. The tragedy that has befallen you is very upsetting, but I must now think you have finally gotten some peace. I remember how much you loved your family, your kids. When I would see you with RJ, you glowed of a proud mother. I am hoping your family will get through this and also find peace. You will be so missed.

    Love to you

  8. To her brother, children and those who were touched by Angela: Walk in peace. To Angela: It's funny how many lives we touch through things we do in every day life... sporting events, young people, community events...just giving what we have to give. You gave your best, little lady. Rest well. I can only hope to be as loved and remembered as this young woman. - fast elk
